Villa Plemelj

DMFA Slovenije owns Plemelj's Vila Perun on Bled at Prešernova 39.

The villa was built in 1908 by Prof. Dr. Josip Plemelj, the father of contemporary Slovenian mathematics and the first rector of the University of Ljubljana. His heirs donated the villa to the Society of Mathematicians, Physicists, and Astronomers of Slovenia (DMFA Slovenije). Personal items of Prof. Dr. Josip Plemelj are exhibited in the Plemelj's memorial room, which can be visited by appointment.

The villa has nine rooms, a kitchenette and a contemporary lecture room and is suitable for organising minor research and educational workshops.
